>>The Education Management System (EMS) is a Management Information System designed to manage the information about an education system. 

>>An EMIS is a repository for data collection, processing, analyzing and reporting of educational information including schools, students, teachers and staff. 

>>The EMIS information is used by Ministries of Education, NGOs, researchers, donors and other education stakeholders for research; policy and planning; monitoring and evaluation; and decision making. 

>>EMIS information is specifically used to create indicators that monitor the performance of an education system and to manage the distribution and allocation of educational resources and services.

>>All the Mandal Educational officers in the district are informed that as per the instructions of the REGIONAL JOINT DIRECTORs they have to download the attachments
1. Proceedings of the RJD of SE
2. PPT on the guidelines for uploading in the web portal
3. Forms in excel format which have to be collected from the teachers and to be uploaded in the web portal.


>>They are further informed that the uploading of the information in the webportal should be completed by 10th June, 2015 without fail.
        
>>The Mandal MIS Coordinators/Dt.E.Os are informed that they have to open the web portal in “Internet Explorer" web browser only. For any queries please contact the District MIS Coordinator.
