4.Indian Polity and Governance- Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights issues etc.,
Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives etc.
5.General issues on Environmental Ecology,Bio- diversity and Climate Change- that do not require subject specialization.
6.General Science Comprehension Interpersonal skills including communication skills,Logical reasoning and analytical ability Decision making and problem solving General Mental ability Basic numeracy.
7.Data Interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc., Class X level)
In the circumstances reported by the Director of Social Welfare, AP, Amaravathi in the reference 7th read above, Government hereby agree for the enhancement of the seats for SC students under the “NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme” from the present 350 seats to 700 seats for the year 2016-17.
2. Further, the Government have also agreed to entrust the process of conduct of entrance exams to select SC and ST students under NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme to JNTU, Kakinada as agreed by the Common Selection Committee in the reference 6th read above.
3. The Director of Social Welfare, A.P. Amaravathi shall take further action accordingly.
4. This order issues with the concurrence of Finance Department vide their U.O.No.39027/2/2015-FMU-Welfare-1, dated:13-12-2016.

AP NTR VIDYONNATHI EXAM PATTER,SYLLABUS,QUALIFICATIONS
Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare & Tribal Welfare Departments Government Of Andhra Pradesh has given NTR Vidyonnathi Scheme 2016 notification and Applications are invited from the eligible SC & ST Students for appearing for Entrance Test under NTR Vidyonnathi scheme,conducted by JNTU Kakinada.
The selected candidates will be sponsored to Reputed Institutes in the Country for providing professional guidance for Civil Services Examination to be conducted by UPSC for Prelims-cum-Mains.
ELIGIBITY:A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 37 years. In case of disabled candidates (VH/HH/OH), upper age limit is 42 years.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:Candidate should have passed any Degree course.
INCOME CEILING:Annual family income shall not exceed Rs.2.00 lakhs.
SYLLABUS:
The syllabus, Model Papers will be the same as the syllabus for UPSC Preliminary examination, which is as follows:
1.Current events of National and International importance. 2.History of Indian and Indian National Movement.
3.Indian and World Geography, Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World.
4.Indian Polity and Governance- Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights issues etc.,
