1. Introduction
Department of school education portal www.cse.ap.gov.in was developed to bring all information related to education on a single platform. It was desired to monitor all data to make education an ennobling experience.Various measures are being taken to enhance the performance of the students. One such measure is Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation. Hence it is desired to develop an application to capture performance of the students in four formative tests and three summative exams.
2. Objective
To monitor the performance of the students in all the formative and summative exams and take corrective measures wherever required.
3. Scope
The scope of this document is to explain the process flow for updating end user usage. There are two services to be updated. 
These are as follows:
***Student Language Mapping – Students have to be mapped to their medium of instruction. Academic 
***Performance Monitoring – Marks of each student to be entered for each exam.
Maximum marks for each exam need to be identified. The system will not allow you to enter
marks greater than the maximum marks.
PROCESS - Academic Student Performance
The process to update student’s medium of instruction and to enter marks scored by the student in
Formative and Summative Assessment is explained below:
1. Navigate to portal www.cse.ap.gov.in.

2. On the home page click Student Information System as shown in Figure 1. The login screen
appears. As shown in following figure.

3. Enter your Username and Password and click Submit. The following screen appears.
4. Click Services. Following two services appear:
*Student Language Mapping
** Academic Performance Evaluation
*** Academic Performance Evaluation Edit

5. Click Student Language Mapping

The following screen appears:
6. Select Class.

The following screen appears. Here some students have already been mapped to the medium of
instruction as per the data available.
Note: Data is missing for few students. Please update all the fields.

When student’s medium of instruction is entered, following confirmation message appears:

7. Click Academic Performance Evaluation as shown in following figure:

The following screen appears:

8. Select Student Name, Class, Medium, and click Get Data.
The following screen appears:

9. Fill in all the marks. The marks value cannot be more than the maximum marks.

The following screen is displayed

When you click on Get Data you will be directed to the following page

Make the changes and click on UPDATE
