OU PhD Admissions 2017-2018,Osmania University directs Osmania University Ph.D. Eligibility Test for admission to Ph.D. programmes in faculties of Arts, Social Sciences, Commerce, Management, Education, Law, Science, Oriental Languages, Engineering, Pharmacy and Informatics. The basic objective of this test is to assess the aptitude of aspirants wishing to apply for Phd in Osmania University. Ph.D. aspirants with post graduate qualification from a recognized university are eligible to apply for this assesment. UGC- NET / CSIR - NET / ICMR/ ICAR / DBT- JRF/ INSPIRE fellowship and Teacher Fellowship aspirants are exempt from appearing for this entrance test that is conducted for Ph.D. Admission at Osmania university.
2.Candidate should have qualified their master degree programme with scoring a minimum of 55% marks (or 50% in case of candidates belonging to SC / ST category)

PhD Eligibility Test 2017 - Test Pattern
The eligibility test will be of 90 minutes duration and question paper consists of 100 objective (multiple choice only) type questions
The eligibility test will consist of any 3 or 4 varieties of objective type items such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study/experiment/theoretical point of view, etc., with multiple answers besides the usual multiple choice items. The items will be framed only from the syllabus of eligibility test.
Maximum marks for eligibility test: 100 marks
