NTSE 2016 Cutoff – National Council of Educational
Research and Training (NCERT) has announced NTSE cutoff 2016 on July 22 for the candidates who had appeared in the Stage-II of the selection process on May 8, 2016. The Cutoff has been declared by NCERT in online mode and no postal communication will be made to the candidates in this regards. The cutoff is available for the candidates below in this page.

The candidates qualifying the Stage-I will be eligible for appearing in the Stage-II exam. Every year, around 4000 students are selected from Stage I to appear at the Stage II of the examination.
The National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national level examination cum scholarship program. The scholarship programme is conducted by NCERT and students studying in class X are eligible for NTSE 2016 examination and selection procedure, which is as below:
- NTSE Stage-I: This stage is conducted by the State/UT usually in the month of November. Any student of class X can register themselves for this stage of the selection process.
- NTSE Stage-II: Those students who qualify stage-I appear for this stage of the examination. This is conducted at the National level and students from across the country that has cleared Stage-I compete at this level.
