Andhra Pradesh Language Pandit Common Entrance Test which is also known as AP LPCET 2017 notification has been announced Department of School Education, Government of AP. Applications are invited from candidates who intend to take admission into One year Language Pandit Training Course (LPT) in Government IASES / CTES and private Language Pandit Training colleges in Andhra Pradesh for academic year 2017-2018.Eligible and interested candidates can apply may submit their application through online mode only .

Candidates have to pay Rs 500/- through Payment Gateway ( Credit card / Debit card / Net banking ).

Eligibility for AP LPCET 2017:
1. Candidate should be should be Indian nationality.

2. Candidate should be belong to the state of Andhara Pradesh only and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down in the AP educational Institutions or 1974 as subsequently amended.

AP LPCET 2017-Educational Qualifications:

1. Telugu Pandit

B.A (Telugu Literature) / B.A (Oriental language Telugu) / Bachelor of Oriental Language Telugu / A Graduate Degree with optional subject Telugu / M.A (Telugu).

2. Hindi Pandit

A Graduate Degree with optional subject Hindi/Bachelor of Oriental Language Hindi / Praveen Bharat Hindhi Prachar Sabha / Vidwen of Hindi Prachara Sabha, Hyderabad / any other equivalent recognized qualification in Hindi (BA) standard by the government of AP / M.A (Hindi).

3. Candidates who have appeared for final qualifying examination (or) its equivalent during this academic year are also eligible to apply entrance examination subject to the condition that they should produce their pass certificates at the time of counseling without fail.

4. The candidates who have passed the above examination as on the date of submission of application are eligible to appear for entrance examination.

AP LPCET 2017-Age Limit:

The candidates should have completed 19 years of age as on the July of the year of admission 01/07/2017 . There is No upper age limit.

AP LPCET 2017-How to Apply

1. Candidates has to pay the fee in online mode only, candidate will get a "Journal Number" (It is only a conformation the fee received),which is necessary to fill the online application.

2. Login to the official website,fill the online application form with required details,upload photo & signature and submit.Take the printout.

AP LPCET 2017-Examination Centers:
The entrance test shall be conducted in all the 13 districts of the AP state. Candidate can choose any examination centre (District) gets exhausted that particular examination centre (District) will not be displayed in the list of examination centers given in the online application form.

Exam Pattern for AP LPCET 2017:

AP LPCET 2017

The entrance will consist of 100 objective type and multiple choice questions for 100 marks in 2 hours duration. Each question carries 1 mark, there is no negative marks.

Syllabus for AP LPCET 2017:

1. Numerical Ability

Four fundamental operations ( Addition, Subtraction, Division & Multiplication) and Averages.

2. Language

Telugu Pandit : 1st Language of 8th to 10th Classes AP State syllabus

Hindi Pandit : 2nd Language of 8th to 10th Classes AP State syllabus

3. Literature

Graduate Degree Standard

AP LPCET 2017-Selection Process:

1. Merit in the entrance examination.

2. Option of the college exercised in counseling.

3. Rule of reservation.

AP LPCET 2017-Qualifying Marks:

General category of candidate shall be 35% of aggregate marks and No minimum marks for SC/ST category candidates.
