About AP Brahmin Welfare Corporation

AP Brahmin Welfare Corporation or ABC in short, is a State Government-owned vibrant organization committed to the development and welfare of the weaker and marginalized sections of the Brahmin community. ABC serves the needy members of the community in AP in a selfless and inspirational manner by providing financial, intellectual and physical resources for their overall development which includes education, skill building, entrepreneurship, welfare and value-based cultural life, on a sustainable basis. The Corporation also strives to inculcate a sense of belonging to the community for improving cohesiveness, morale and pride. The resources are provided through distinct schemes and initiatives in various categories.

Eligibility Criteria for Bharati Scheme for Education{BSE}

➪The student and his/her Parents should belong to Brahmin community and parents should reside in Andhra Pradesh.
➪Annual Family income of Parents / Guardian should not be more than Rs. 3,00,000/-
➪Should be pursuing a regular course in School / College/ Institute/ University for the year 2017-18 Should have passed in all the subjects till previous year of study (i.e., s students who do not have backlogs in their previous year are eligible).
➪Should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Government scheme for the same purpose.

➪However ,students availing benefit from Archaka Welfare Trust are eligible under this scheme, in addition to the assistance they get under Archaka Welfare Trust.
➪Detailed Course wise Financial Assistance and eligibility criteria is provided as Annexure to this document.

Application Procedure For Bharati Scheme for Education {BSE} Scheme

Eligible candidates shall fill their application online only in the prescribed format.

List Of Certificates for Applying Bharati Scheme for Education Scheme

Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of maximum 250 kb size each) of the following documents:

➧Aadhar Cards of student
➧Aadhar Cards parent / guardian in one pdf file.
➧Caste certificate
➧Income certificates issued by competent authority or an integrated certificate (Caste, Income and Residence) issued by Mee-Seva, in the name of the student, in one pdf file.
➧Marks Sheets of all the previous years (starting from SSC).
➧Study Certificate from School / College / Institute / University for the Academic Year 2017-18
➧Bank Account Pass book in the name of the applicant (Account should be in Andhra bank or SBI. However, for students studying outside Andhra Pradesh account in any Nationalised Bank is acceptable)
➧Passport size photograph of the student (in jpeg format upto a max of 50KB size)

Selection process for Bharathi Scheme For Education (BSE)

➠Shortlisting and finalization of applicants shall be done by the State Level Selection Committee (SLSC), giving priority to the following categories:

Orphan
Single mother
Physically challenged
Girl student
Economically very poor

➠One time financial assistance of specified amount (details provided in the annexure) will be credited online to the SB Accounts of selected students.➠State Level Selection Committee is authorized to make exceptions in the eligibility / selection process, and their decision will be final.

COURSE WISE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE YEAR 2017-18

1St Class to 5th Class	Students studying in Andhra Pradesh (Private/Govt / Municipal / ZP Schools). Parents / Guardian should be staying in Andhra Pradesh Annual Income of the Parents / Guardian should not be more than 3 Lakhs	Rs. 5,000/-
6th Class to 10th Class	Students studying in Andhra Pradesh (Private/Govt / Municipal / ZP Schools). Parents / Guardian should be staying in Andhra Pradesh Annual Income of the Parents / Guardian should not be more than 3 Lakhs	Rs. 7,000/-
Intermediate or equivalent (ITI, Polytechnic, D.Ed, TTC, D.Pharmacy, etc.)	Annual Income of the Parents / Guardian should not be more than 3 Lakhs Parents should be staying in Andhra Pradesh Should be studying in any recognized and reputed college in Andhra Pradesh, for the academic year 2017-18 Should have cleared all the subjects of the previous year(s) wherever applicable.	Rs. 10,000/-
Graduation (Any regular course of 3 years duration after 10+2 will be considered under this category. i.e.. B.A..B.Com, B.Sc.,, etc., including B.Ed.)	Annual Income of the Parents/Guardian should be below 3 Lakhs Parents should be staying in Andhra Pradesh Should be studying in any recognized and reputed college in Andhra Pradesh, for the academic year 2017-18 Should have cleared all the subjects of the previous year(s), wherever applicable	Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand only)
Professional Education Course (Any professional course with 4 years or more duration after 10+2 will be considered under this category i.e., B.Tech. B. Arch., MBBS, SAMS, BHMS, BPT, B.Pharmacy. Pharma- D, B.V.Sc, B.Sc.(Agr), etc.)	Annual Income of the Parents/Guardian should be below 3 Lakhs Should be studying in any recognized and reputed college anywhere in India for the academic year 2017-18 1st Year B.Tech students should have obtained EAMCET Rank below 50,000. Should have cleared all the subjects of previous year(s), wherever applicable	Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty thousand only)
Professional Education Course — Chartered Accountancy Inter (IPCC)	Annual Income of the Parents/Guardian should be below 3 Lakhs Parents should be staying in Andhra Pradesh Should have cleared CPT not before 2016, registered and paid fees for CA-Inter (IPCC) exam to be held in May 2017 or November 2017 Should not have availed the benefit from ABC Ltd. for the same exam (CA Inter / IPCC) earlier	Rs. 20,000/-
Professional Education Course — Chartered Accountancy Final	Annual Income of the Parents/Guardian should be below 3 Lakhs Parents should be staying in Andhra Pradesh Should have cleared both groups of CA-Inter (IPCC) after 2012 and registered and paid fees for CA final exam being held in May 2017 or November 2017 Should not have availed the benefit from ABC Ltd. for the same exam (CA Final) earlier	Rs. 20,000/-
Post Graduation (Any course of 2 Years or more duration, after Graduation (10+2+3) will be considered under this category, i.e. M.Sc, M. Com, M.A. M.Tech. M.D., M.Pharm, MBA, etc.)	Annual Income of the Parents/Guardian should be below 3 Lakhs Parents should be staying in Andhra Pradesh Should be studying in any recognized and reputed college for the academic year 2017-18 Should have cleared all the subjects of the previous year(s), wherever applicable.
